Our address is Office 1, Enterprise Centre, Byrom Street, Blackburn, Lancashire BB2 2LE. You can contact us about your data at hr@interpretingservice.co.uk or on 01254 312772.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, mobile number, town and the first part of your postcode
- The languages you interpret, the types of work you do, your qualifications and your NRPSI registration number
- The security vetting you hold, your DBS certificate date and whether you are on the DBS Update Service
- Your rates, minimum booking, availability and anything else you choose to tell us
- Your CV and a photo of yourself, if you choose to upload them
- Your consent and declarations, and the date you gave them
We do not ask for your full address or your DBS certificate on the website form. Uploading a CV or photo is optional; we use them only to assess your application and arrange your work. Before your first booking we may ask to see your qualifications, ID and vetting certificate.
How we use it
- To check your registration and suitability for interpreting work
- To offer you bookings that match your languages, location and availability
- To contact you about bookings, payments and changes to your details
- To send you occasional news about Connect, but only if you ticked the news box
We use your information because you have asked to join our panel and agreed to us keeping your details for this purpose, and so we can meet our obligations to clients who need qualified and vetted interpreters.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the clients you are booked to work for (for example your name, language and NRPSI number). We use trusted service providers to host our website and email. We do not sell your information.
